"In 1994 I was trained as a facilitator to run major BPR projects. Though the methodology I used was considered to be the best available in a study conducted by the Gartner Group, it was very obvious to me that something was missing.

There were three phases to a project: Analysis, Redesign and Implementation. What was missing was some way of stimulating creativity between the analysis and the redesign phases. You can't just snap your fingers and get people to 'think out of the box'. You need to access parts of the brain that their normal work activity doesn't reach. So I looked at what was available and developed a creativity workshop as a bridge between the two phases.
