Successful Sustainability

Sustainability has grown in its importance over the past decade or more, with companies and individuals increasingly embracing new approaches to minimising waste and maximising recycling. Draft European Standard for Management Consultancy
00:00 Speaker/ Facilitator: Mr Jeremy Webster
Earlier this year, the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN) issued a draft standard for management consultancy.
The purpose of this standard is to provide a good practice guideline to improve business relationships between providers and customers across European country boundaries.
Various UK bodies (IBC, MCA, CMI etc) have been involved in that process and although closure on the period of feedback came at the end of September, Jeremy who chaired the UK Project Committee is still interested in hearing from Richmond Group Members, ahead of the next European meeting in early December.
Jeremy specialises in organisation and people development. He works with Directors and senior managers to devise and implement innovative approaches to improve people’s ability and motivation.
He concentrates on dealing with the people implications of change, in both the Public and Private sectors. He has substantial experience of working across government and spent most of 2004 on secondment in the Cabinet Office and Foreign Office.
He plays an active role in the UK Institute of Business Consulting (IBC), where he was chair in 2006-7. Prior to holding this position, he was Deputy Chair with responsibility for professional standards and qualifications. He is now a Trustee of the International Council of Management Consultancy Institutes (ICMCI), the body that co-ordinates Management Consultancy standards across the globe.
