| profile & consultancy approach | Frank initially followed a line personnel management career that included periods in chemical, retail, engineering, electronics and transport sectors. Since entering consultancy, initially with one of the major UK practices and subsequently working independently, he has added other commercial areas, central and local government and not-for-profit sectors to his portfolio.
His consulting style is to work closely with clients to provide tailored solutions that will be effective in their own culture and circumstances through a variety of assignment models that include strategy and option reviews; implementation planning and support; call-off support and advice; or interim management. He specialises in providing clients with a comprehensive service across the whole pay and reward environment. Some assignments are to review and update specific elements of reward packages, such as salary structures, pay benchmarking, job evaluation or performance management. Often wider issues of organisation and role design and general HR policy reviews tie together reward practices and business objectives. Studies to advise and support remuneration committees have often featured in assignments.
