Typical consultancy assignments include:

London Borough. Implemented the HR Business Partner model using engagement techniques. Led a wide range of organisational review projects including managing redundancy and mutual agreements. Undertook individual, team and organisational development to embed and underpin the changes.

County Council. Developed and delivered a large team event and then a series of top management individual and team development for the Strategic Policy team, using MBTI.

NHS county-wide and Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Undertook two reviews on the move to more flexible working and using office space more effectively and a county-wide review of NHS occupational health services with a view to merging services across the county. As part of these assignments, developed and facilitated a series of team engagement events.

Capital project consultants. Provided part-time high level HR support to a medium sized global niche business, including implementing HR strategy, staff engagement and culture change, dealing with high level grievances and facilitating senior exits.

Government Department. Provided HR support on the review of a range of national improvement programmes, developing plans for each programme and working directly with high-risk programmes to ensure decommissioning or continuation. Included reviewing closure plans and providing HR advice on all aspects of the review, including governance matters.

NHS PCT. Undertook a review of three complex people management cases and recommended appropriate ways forward.

NHS improvement organisation. Undertook a range of assignments including developing and implementing a programme of staff engagement for a nation-wide flexible working workforce, following a staff survey (‘100 Best Companies to Work For'). The organisation became one of the ‘100 Best Companies to Work For' the following year, one of the few to achieve this from the public sector. Set up a Community of Practice for roving workers. Developed and delivered a range of organisational development events for a national workforce. Supported the organisation in localising / dissolving and starting up a new smaller innovation and improvement organisation.

Government Department. Supported the Department in developing a Maximising Attendance policy and procedure. Developed and delivered a range of Maximising Attendance training and workshops for 900 civil servants in London and Scotland. Developed a training pack for delivering the training at sites across the world.

Regional Government. Initially developed and delivered a programme of high-level, high volume recruitment and selection for resourcing the newly created organisation. Undertook HR policy development. Developed and delivered performance management workshops and managing attendance training. Developed and ran bespoke assessment centres for specific roles.

National broadcasting organisation. Supported a key Directorate and Nations and Regions in preparing for and achieving IIP. Developed a range of toolkits, relating to induction, performance management and appraisal and individual development.

County Council. Engaged with staff at all levels to achieve individual contractual change relating to the local pay and reward package, County Reward. Achieved council average of acceptances across Social Services. Developed and implemented the first flexible benefits arrangement within the public sector.

Police Force. Provided performance and career transition coaching for police officers at all levels.
