Deliverables

People and process development:

• Worked with multi disciplined teams to identify and de-clutter thousand of lines of redundant data, then document and standardise group (including S&P) data feeds at a shared services division. McGraw-Hill

• Worked with PWC and EDS (the BBC's financial and IT outsource partners), to deliver process improvements removing 10,000 duplicated transactional entries across three legacy systems within the multi £m T&E department. Then designed a user friendly menu option to ensure "get it right first time" greatly improving the SLA measures and paving the way for a successful migration to SAP. The methodology was later adopted by other Directorates. BBC News

• Identified and implemented improved processes and redefined staff roles to help an internet start up prepare for a £45m (60%) post merger increase in sales in three months time, with no increase in head count. Aviva

• Implemented Sun Accounts at a wholesale division delivering enhanced sales and stock reporting. Browning Enterprises (£70m wholesale and retail group)

• Introduced BSI assessed company-wide quality control processes to deliver a 99% get it right first time operation. Interleasing North (£60m fleet management company)

Financial Management:


• Liaised with the company's UK wide distribution partners to develop and introduce web enabled change to automatically capture UK online inputs directly into the company's centralised finance systems, eliminating 98% of office processing and significantly improving data accuracy and lead times. • Rolled out company-wide financial and IT initiatives to capture true contract costing for the 1,500 payroll reporting system. KGB Holdings (£30m public sector contractors)

• Delivered improved financial visibility for senior management at an IT company, working with KPMG to prepare for the sale to a FTSE 250 group company. Midas IT.
