Professional management and marketing consultants, FINNbiz specialises in the development of profitable business for SME and larger companies, usually in engineering and technological fields, customising and leading programmes in business and new product development and the sales and marketing of products and services. Alan Finn developed a career in electrical and electronic engineering management, after several years at sea in the RN submarine service, followed by spells as a General Manager and in industrial marketing management, for multinational companies such as Honeywell and Schlumberger. He trained in marketing in blue-chip companies, gaining a post-graduate diploma in marketing and an MBA degree to become a Chartered Marketer. Over the last seven years, Alan developed FINNbiz, as a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, registered as an Incorporated Engineer, a Member of the Institute of Measurement and Control, a Member of the Energy Institute, an Associate Member of the Institution of Nuclear Engineers and a Fellow of the Institution of Diagnostic Engineers. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Fellow of the Institute of Direct Marketing, Alan is also a member of the Chartered Management Institute and a member of the Institute of Business Consulting.Alan is registered on the national Business Links register of approved consultants, is listed in the CIM Marketing Consultants Directory and carries Professional Indemnity Insurance.
